hi there, i was after a rough guide on the total price for the following on my 1300 dolly. none of this is essentiallly needed apart from the wishbones but
it would be nice to treat the old lady:
engine:
re-bore
new pistons
new bearings
new bushes
new oil pump
re-con unleaded head
new water hoses
suspension:
new wishbones (currently knocking)
new front/rear shocks and springs
poly bushes
brakes:
new shoes
new discs
new pads
new cylinders

I can only suggest you consult one of the regular suppliers as to the price of the parts concerned. You can do this on line for at least some of them.
Rimmer Bros will have most of the stuff, and there are others (Fitchetts for example).
Not had a rebore done for some years, but at a VERY rough estimate, assuming you deliver them a completely stripped block, start at about
£50. The price you are quoted though from a machine shop may depend on whether or not they supply the new pistons, as they will be able to
get them trade and make some profit on selling them on to you. If you supply the pistons, you will have to let the machine shop have them so they can
bore your cylinders to match.
You should not need to replace wishbones unless the bolt holes have worn oval, and even then you can do weld repairs with thick washers. If they are
knocking as you suggest, then replacing the bushes will solve the problem.

Hi, here are muy ideas on the prices but this depends on if you go to specialist or local motor factor/garage.
re-bore

new water hoses £20 set the small ones are not available from some factors. Autojumble price £6
suspension:
new wishbones (currently knocking) Just bushes probably especially with your low mileage
new front/rear shocks and springs £40 each £80 per front/rear
poly bushes £40-£50 look in TSSC offers
brakes:
new shoes £15
new discs £ouch £75 each?
new pads £15
new cylinders £10 each
