Hi,
My father owns a dolomite sprint, which has sat unused in the front garden for the last 20 years, and was taken off the road due to constant overheating
issues.
Needless to say it is now in a rather sorry state, tho the chassis and maybe 80% of the body work seem good.
I was just wondering whether people know how readily parts for said car are. I have a 1500 spit and am hopeful that sprint parts are as easy to come by so
I can hopefully get to work on it throught the summer.
Once thats out the way it will be the 13/60's turn!
cheers,
Chris

Hi Chris
I had a Sprint completely restored around ten years ago at great expense. The hardest parts to find for the Dolomite range is the outer front wings in
metal, fibreglass is available as far as I know. Possibly some of the inner front panels are also getting a bit thin on the ground. Generally speaking
the parts back up is not as good as a Spitfire. Having said that repair panels are available and everything you will need to carry out a restoration on
your Sprint should be available. If your Sprint is overheating all the time it might be worth checking to see if the car is fitted with a 12 vane water
pump (recommeded) or the earlier 6 vane pump. Steve
