I have a Herald with a Toledo engine (engine prefix DH47004HE) which requires a new fuel pump.
Could anyone tell me which fuel pump I should be looking for and where I could get one.
Are all Triumph pumps compatable ie Herald, Spitfire etc. and if not are all Dolomite pumps interchangeable.
The pump I removed from the car is a sealed unit but the one shown in the Haynes manual can be dismantled.
Can anyone give me the part number I should be looking for.
On the existing pump there is a small hole in the side could anyone tell me what this if for.

I think all 4 cylinder fuel pumps are interchangeable if the levers are the same length. A long lever needs a spacer, a short lever doesn't
obviously.
I guess the hole is to allow the diaphragm to move up and down easily.
