Where oh where did they stamp the engine number on a sprint engine. The only thing I can find on my EBAY engine block is
F F F C and an X stamped on it.
Any one out there got any ideas

Hi Al,
the engine number is stamped on the cylinder head (on earlier models) or the cylinder head 9later models) and may be seen by looking down between the
carburetters.
The prefix will be VA
xxxxx Number in production line
H high compression
L low compresssion
E engine
