Hello All
I have a 1978 Dolomite 1850. The exhaust is due for replacement and I have been considering a few different options. I have recently fitted a TSSC standard
box with twin pipes to my Spitfire which I really like. It sounds much better than the single pipe version. Highly reccomended!
Does anyone know if you can fit an exhaust with twin pipes to an 1850? If so does anyone know where the best place to get one is?
Thanks

Standard Sprint exhaust has twin pipes. You would need to use an 1850 downpipe so somewhere along the line you would have to change from 1850 bits to
Sprint bits if you wanted twin pipes. Doesn't necessarily mean it will sound any better though.

twin pipes are a very common mod to the Max Power crowd in their golf's, astra's. They do it these days by having the normal route to one side then
just after the rear wheels it's siamesed off to a silencer on the other side. Not symetrical at all from the underneath but you end up with two
pipes and silencers on either side of the rear. You'll have to know what you want as they'll think you've got a funny shape Peugeot or something.
Just go to the shiny shop.
