I have engine No. DH59282HE in my 1973 MkIV.
Beneath the distributor is a pipe which has been blocked off (copper pipe into a rubber tube with a narrow bolt as a plug!). Could this have been an oil
pressure arrangement previously? If so, does it run a guage or just an oil light?
Any info would be most helpful. Thanks.
Gerry

Hey you! We know your sort, you're only after another engine for your Spit! Away back to the Spitfire page and leave us to talk about proper
things!
(it's the oil pressure sender hole by the way. Same as the Spit)

Have you a Dolomite fuel tank sender unit you can spare? I need one for my GT6.

Dolly tank sender unit for a GT6? Sounds like a reasonable swap. Run it down tomorrow and I'll give you your train fare back to Nards.
NOW NAFF OFF BACK TO THE GT6 PAGE, AND TAKE THAT ENGINE STEALER WITH YOU!!!!!!!!

Hi Laurence; strayed here from the Herald page, I have a fuel sender unit from a Dolly 1850 if it is any use. I assume they are the same as a
Sprint unit. Let me know and i will post it.

Laurence; I have sneaked in undetected from the Herald page again! Obviously the change from Dolly to Herald ownership altered my
humour detectors without my realising, thanks for a civil reply:
