Hi everyone i am a joint member with my wife, who as main member got her car first and i am just finding out how friendly and helpful triumph owners are. i have just purchased a second mark iv spitfire it meant was to be a donor car but with two owners from new and full history it is to go back on the road as my car so we will be a two spit family, a lot of work ahead but hopefully it will be worth it. Which brings me to my main topic everyone we have met connected with triumphs has bent over backwards to offer advice and help in anyway possible is it a coincidence a lot of these people are motorcyclists like myself anyway keep up the good work and hopefully we will meet more of you at meets during the year.

Kenneth, couldn't agree more, I think it is something to do with the socio-economic class most classic owners belong to (scycho-babble bull?) Anyway, I am not a biker but you are right, a lot of the cars on ebay seem to come up for sale as the owner is getting/ got a bike. Pity more of them can't have both.
I am also fairly new to the scene, nearly a year now, and looking forward to having a mad weekend in July at Stafford..... My Mrs has decided not to come as she will not camp, so, people, if you see a lonely looking, short, grey haired bloke drinking alone, please take him under your wing.
