Hi, only posting here as the area directory doesn't appear to be working, presumably due to the URL change.
Not been to a local meet since I took the car off the road in 2000 and dumped it in my Dad's garage, where's time gone?
Got bitten by the bug again last year and replaced floor/sills, just a few small jobs to do and it should be road legal. Wa-hay!
Thought I'd stick my head in at one of the local meetings, but don't know where they are nowadays (was at phantom winger when I last visited).
Anyone tell me where the meet takes place. I seem to think somewhere near the M65 motorway.
Cheers,
Dave.

Hi David
I am the Area Organiser for Lancashire this year, our meetings are currently held at the BAE Systems Canberra Club at Balderstone the last Tuesday of
every month at approx 8pm. Approach the gates at British Aerospace and ask for the Canberra club, it may seem a little daunting at first but please
dont let that put you off.It would be great to have you join us at the meeting, but if you wish to come along on a run we are holding a run on Sunday
22nd April (st Georges and national drive it day) to Ribblehead Viaduct for lunch at a local pub and then onto Hawes to have a wander arond. We are
meeting at the Myerscough pub at 9.30 for a 10am set off, picking other members up at Gisburn Market at approx 10.30 and then onwards. My email is
kollerton@hotmail.co.uk and my mobile is 07730566986 should you wish to contact me.
regards Kevin

Sorry to 'piggy back' on this, but I'm hoping to get along next Tuesday, too. I'm a South Yorkshire member, but will be working in Lytham St Annes
next week Monday - Wednesday, and if the forecast's decent, I'll be in my Spitfire VVP801T. Am I right in thinking that coming from the Preston /
M6 direction, BAE Bolderstone is on the A59, on the right, soon after the A59 / A677 junction?

Yes thats where it is, opposite the Myrescough Pub on the A59 on the right hand side....you cant miss it. Go to the gate & tell the
security gaurd that you are going to The Canberra Club, follow road round to left after security lodge.

Only just got home from work, so will have to wait another month to meet you lot! My spit is in for its first MOT of the century next
Tuesday, so I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.

Any further advice on an appropriate Spitfire friendly garage in Lancs (nr Ramsbottom?) Just bought a 1500 and would like it to have
the once over.
