Congratulations on re-entering the fold!
I bought GPP 891K in 1990 by this time it was red and looked fabulous.
The previous owner had bought it in 1988 after it had been completely rebuilt, I even had some photos of
the rebuild, though it didn't look desperately in need of it.
I ran GPP 891K as my every day car up until 2002 when my third child was on the way ! The rear seat
conversion meant I could squeeze the first two in ok, but where to put the third ? ( A trailer was considered
By 2002 the car was getting a bit tired, still on the same engine I bought it with. I'd done a suspension rebuild,
new timing chain, exhaust ( stainless steel sports - lovely sound ) etc. but some welding was required which
was a bit out of my league.
Sold on to a garage in Suffolk, last heard of at an auction late 2003, so it's still going.
I'd love to get back to GT6 ownership but family and finances don't allow at present, though I've got enough
spares accrued over the years to build one from scratch !
Just noticed the photo of your new car, Steve, seems you were destined to buy a red GT6.
