Hi Stephen,
I know two of the previous owners!
Eddie Tee owned the car in the 80's and early 90's. Kim Charlton (nee Woodward) owned it during the mid to late 90's . I knew them all well as they
were Essex area members when I was the local AO. Both owners took the car to Europe on our annual Essex area tours we did throughout the 90's.
Next time I'm in the loft I'll see if I can find any pictures. I've got a feeling that it may be the 3rd or 4th car in the following picture taken on
the convoy at the international Spitfire Weekend in Holand in 1994, Kim and her then boyfreind, now husband Trevor were certainly there that year in
it.
I also remember a story from a trip to Halland in 1989 regarding this car when Eddie Tee was the owner. Eddie drove his car through a gap between two
wooden posts to park it next to the chalet we were staying in and he clouted one of the sills on one of the posts on the way through resulting in a big
dent. He was well upset as the car was his pride and joy, that evening he got extremely drunk to drown his sorrows. While he was drunk the rest of us
Essex area members played a prank on Eddie, we pushed his car back out through the wooden posts and parked it back in the proper car park. When he woke
up the morning he found his car was missing and was understandably upset, we told him that his car wasn't missing but that he had moved it while he was
drunk and parked it in the car park, we joked that he had managed to get it through the narrow gap when he was blind drunk even though he couldn't when
he was sober! He believed us and we didn't tell him the truth until several months later!
