Anyone know the whereabouts of my red 1965 Spitfire 4 288 STO last seen 1972? Most likely gone to that great scrapyard in the sky but there are people out there who perform miracles!

Sadly I believe it is no more

A DVLA search against the registration number and make = triumph has no record.

An RAC search against the registration number only shows that the number is not on another vehicle.

    It should be remembered that a lack of any DVLA record can't be taken as a guarantee that the car is no longer on the road. Quite a number of classics are purchased by overseas enthusiasts and will continue to be used/restored without any record on the UK databases. A large proportion of classics on southern Irish roads are UK imports.
