This what I have about the car:
Registered 1 April 1968. Spitfire MKIV engine (no. FH53163HE 1970-74), unidentified high ratio gearbox, separate oil cooling system with oil
pressure retention, spin-off oil filter, alternator, electric fan with remote switch, twin stainless sports exhaust with 4 branch manifold,
twin SU carbs with AUC8114 dampers allegedly for improved performance, twin-pan high-flow air filters, copper brake/clutch pipes, power coil,
oil pressure/water temp gauge, ammeter, clock, lowered suspension, 41/2j Spitfire MKIV wheels, wood rim Mountney steering wheel (original also
with car), twin auxiliary driving lamps, leather gearstick gaiter. Very powerful performance and sharp braking.
I have owned every marque in the range, and this matches GT6 and Vitesse for performance. I do not know what modifications have been made to
gearbox and engine to make this possible.
See www.artgloriousart.com/heraldOHJ129F.htm for further pictures. I have just taken them and put them on this page. Hope it works!.
Bob

What do you know of this unusual Herald 13/60 convertible OJH 129F?

Very very interesting, some of the mods are very well done. It's going to be an interesting search to find out what exactly was done and by
whom, and more importantly - when, but somebody is bound to know something!
