Much discussion on other parts of message board from time to time about engine swaps. Just for completeness, how feasible is a six cylinder engine in the
four cylinder Bonds?
An earlier posting on this board suggested someone runs a GT4S with six cylinder engine. How much modication (other than usual engine, gearbox, propshaft,
springs, brakes) is needed?
What about the 2+2? While a bonnet bulge would be easy enough on a fibreglass bonnet, it would not enhance the looks. (Not sure if it would make the GT4S
look any better or worse?!!!)

I beleive the GT4S bonnet was engineered for a 6-cyl to fit under it.
Would you like one to try it on??
Very cheap!

The 4s bonnet was designed to allow for the 6 cylinder , there are a number of cars with one fitted.
As far as I know the engine will not fit into the 2+2 , although I did hear of a car which was meant to have one but I have never seen it in the
flesh.
If the 2 litre engine is fitted the brakes etc need to be upgraded to those from the Vitesse or GT6
