The car show season grinds to a halt over here and my Bonds have done well, I'm glad to say. At the Heritage Village show in Windsor Ontario we won first place in the non North American class, which is a major award. My 68 coupe won. The 69 convertible was an honorable mention.
At the biggerst British show in the midwest USA, the Battle of the Brits, held recently, the 68 coupe won top car in the non aligned class and the convertible got the second place award. A very nice Daimler Dart SP250 was a close third.
Three magazines are writing articles on the cars. I will try to send some pictures of the shows , and of course , the Bonds to Guy as he may want to share them with club members.
