All,
I've followed with interest the recent discussions regarding the TSSC website.
I welcome constructive criticism as well as comments, questions, ideas and suggestions - after all it's YOUR website.
Contrary to what some of you might think, I don't spend my time scanning the MessageBoards for spelling mistakes. I have way more important things to fill
my time with. My life was turned upside down and changed forever earlier this year when I became a father for the first time. They say your outlook on life
and priorities change when you have kids - to be honest I never really understood what that meant. But when our baby son was born 10 weeks premature and
then pulled himself through neonatal intensive care treatment, I understood what everyone had been telling me.
Back to the issue in hand... We have tracked down the problem when posting messages to the website as an issue on the email server. While we do further
testing in the hope to find a permanent solution the MessageBoard email notification sent via Yahoo Groups will be turned OFF.
If you do have a technical issue with the website, your best course of action is to contact me direct - you can call me pretty much anytime - 01249 740245
- or drop me an email - webmaster@tssc.org.uk - and I'll get back to you. Complaining and moaning on the website although great fun isn't the best way to
get results.
Kind regards
Craig

Craig
I obviously touched a nerve, to be singled out, I did mean it in good humour.
I wasn't having a pop at you... in fact rather the opposite.
I was trying to point out that you may have other pressing issues.
Sorry to have upset you. I think we all appreciate the all the work you do on the TSSC site and would hope that no one meant any offence or intended
the thread to be regarded as general whinging, although human nature is such that it often ends up that way.

First of all, Congratulations to Craig, and Mrs.Craig!
And to young Craig Jnr.!
That is a very happy picture - you both look delighted!
What is his name?
A very happy Christmas to you all!
Then,
Thank you Craig for identifying the problem and setting to to solve it.
A lot of the angst about such web problems is because to most of us, it is black magic.
We fear it, and hope that our High Priest will notice our supplications, without the Big Juju getting annoyed and turning our PCs into MGs.
So we don't send our electronic prayers direct, just leave them lying about the board, in the hope that they will Come To Someones Notice.
Best wishes,
John
